Turtle Creek Chorale to honor Parkland

The Turtle Creek Chorale will host a special musical event in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Pastoral Care department of Parkland Health & Hospital System. A massed ensemble will perform Mozart's Requiem at 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19 at the Myerson Symphony Center. The concert features the Turtle Creek Chorale, the SMU Meadows Concert Choir and Partners In Harmony, a chorale made up of members of 40 different faith groups in the DFW area, accompanied by the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and soloists from the University of North Texas. Tickets are available through the Parkland's Pastoral Care department. All proceeds of these tickets directly benefit the department thanks to generous sponsorship of individuals and businesses.
